In an effort to increase the quality and speed of our laser printed materials, personalized letters, membership cards and the like, JAB Media has added an HP 9000 high speed network printer.

"Our new drying systems is awesome," said Jeremy Bowen General Manager, "it lets us inkjet stock we never thought we could."

Coated and glossy stock can be difficult to inkjet properly. Combined infrared and convection drying increases production and improves product quality and turnaround time.

"The purchase of a Videojet Cheshire TLS system greatly expands our capabilities allowing us to virtually eliminate the long setup times with other tabbers," says general manager Jeremy Bowen.

The tabber features electronic setup which is a huge advantage over older machines requiring the operator to move sensors manually to change the position of tabs.

The system can place up to three tabs per piece at speeds up to 30,000 per hour.

Types of self adhesive media it can handle include tabs (wafer seals), stamps and labels.

"The addition of a V-710IJ Universal Friction Feeder® from Streamfeeder will allow for a wider variety of stock to be run through our existing inkjet equipment," commented Jeremy Bowen, general manager.

The V-710IJ is a state the of the art in inkjet feeders. It also interfaces with inserting equipment so that Z-folded pieces and other material can be machine inserted.

With a minimum material size of just 3 3/4" and a maximum size of 12 3/16," the feeder is extremely versatile.
